At Tameside Community Computers CIC, you can rest assured that all data held on any device is securely and permanently erased, we have partnered with Certus https://certus.software/ 

Certus is certified data erasure software, it is a world leader in secure data destruction with comprehensive support in wiping hard drives and mobile devices.

​

Certus data erasure software has approval from the UK Government and is also approved by ADISA and NCSC.

​

We supply a data erasure certificate with every data wipe, there is a cost for us to use this exceptional data erasure software, but it will be FREE for anyone donating a device to us (please note that we can only successfully data wipe healthy drives).
